Searching for an interesting article, I found one on the American Statesman website called, U.S Bans Texting by Truck and bus Drivers. I thought this article was really interesting because I like the idea that they are making new laws to band texting while driving for everyone, no matter who it is, just to make everyone safe. We all should know that texting while driving, can be fatal for us and the people around us. "LaHood hinted that the cell phone industry might find ways that would alert police that a driver was texting or talking on a cell phone", when I read that, I was shocked. I like that idea and would be perfect for those that can't take their eyes out of the cell phone to keep their eyes on the road. We all need to take this into consideration and think before our actions. Specially us young adults because, we make so many mistakes and then we regret them. Let's start by making the right decision and learn the consequences.  DRIVE SAFE =)

After reading your blog about banning texting by truck and bus drivers, i am a bit confused. You make some good points in your blog but it doesn't really support the main argument. i think i know what you were trying to say but you didn't clearly translate it into paper. I think one thing you could have added was to try and ban texting by not only truck and bus drivers but by every driver. Judging by what you wrote, i believe that was the clear message you were trying to get across. I totally agree with you that texting while driving can be really fatal and it impairs our ability to drive. No matter how well an individual drives, the road is shared so it doesn't really matter because there are other drivers on the road. I think the main purpose was to persuade your reader and i think with a bit more organization and more clear support for your argument would have helped.
